Eddie Adolfo Hurtado Quevedo
Eddie Hurtado Quevdo came to the US in 2024. He is now confirmed to be in CECOT.
Coming to the US
Eddie Hurtado Quevedo, along with his mother Maria Quevedo, left Venezuela and moved to Peru when he was 17. After five years in Peru, they decided to migrate together to the United States. In Mexico, they waited to get their appointments confirmed through the CBP One app which allowed them entrance at San Ysidro port of entry in August of 2024. Maria was admitted to the United States, but her son was detained.
Tattoos
Maria says her son has 19 tattoos, none of which are associated with a gang.
Detention and Expulsion
Maria thought Eddie would be released quickly since he had no criminal records.
After Eddie was detained, he informed Maria he was being moved to a detention center in Laredo and Maria has not spoken to him since. Neither Maria nor the attorney she hired was able to reach Eddie in detention. She was shocked to see him on a video of alleged gang members of Tren de Aragua when they arrived at CECOT in El Salvador.
